• The patronage of the Electrical Engineering Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences was granted to 4 Scientific Conferences (Conferences: SPETO, SENE, History of Electrical Engineering, 100 years of research and education in Electrical Engineering) and the one Event (International Electrician Day).
• The issue of cooperation with the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers (SEP) as part of the appointment of the commission for the preparation of the application for the award of the "IEEE Milestone" to the pioneering work of the three-phase system by Michał Doliwo-Dobrowolski was discussed.

A world-renowned specialist in the field of electric drive, power electronics and converter systems for generating electricity. Author of many scientific articles, books and patents. Member of the Executive Board of EPE and PEMC Conferences. A long-time member of the Electrical Engineering Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers. Awarded with the Prime Minister's award, Minister's awards and numerous awards from the Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology. Professor received the Medal of the National Education Commission and medals of international organizations EPE and PEMC..
